Halloween Eye Series: Glamorous Clown EOTD

*My holiday giveaway is still open for new entries! Fabulous colors and products in this prize ;)*

I am not a huge fans of clowns, in fact I think they're a bit creepy sometimes (thanks to seeing Stephen King's IT when I was young), but I thought it would be kind of cute to do a super simple, glamorous clown eye look. This is something you could easily thrown on before handing out candy at your doorway or taking the little guys out for trick or treating! When I first thought of this look I tried to find something similar to what I wanted to do. This isn't identical, but it has the same essence.

Glamorous Clown EOTD. I've got my eye closed slightly so you can see the full triangle on the top. Yes, that is a glitter tear!

Here's a second view of the same look, but with my eye open all the way.
I think you could go all out and do your whole face like this, or simply blend the white out or get rid of the white all together and keep it around your eyes. I chose to blend Sugarpill Poison Plum directly into my eyebrow so that it would give it a purple hue, not give me a completely purple eyebrow. You can do whatever suits your taste! I used to have purple highlights in my hair years ago, I love the way black and purple go together ;) Also, even though the tear looks like blue glitter, it is actually a Make Up For Ever glitter that's white and when the light hits it, it becomes an electric purply-blue. So cool in person!

Here's what I used:
  • MAC White Shadow - sorry, label rubbed off so not sure which one, but any white will do (patted all over eye area and blended out from brown to below the eye, from outer corner to nose)
  • Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes pencil liner in 0L
  • Fyrinnae Incubus Shadow (lined upper and lower lashlines; did embellishments in outer and inner corner as well as in the center of the upper and lower lid; also dream small tear)
  • Sugarpill Poison Plum (patted over incubus and used to shade eyebrow)
  • Purple Cosmetic Eye-Approved Glitter - not sure which brand since I had to re-pot it after the jar broken (mixed with Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy and patted over Incubus and Sugarpill Poison Plum)
  • Make Up Forever Cosmetic Glitter No. 4 (mixed with Pixie Epoxy and patted onto "tear")
  • Make Up For Ever false lashes 152
See! Not that complicated ;) What do you think?
