Halloween Eye Series: Hear Me Roar EOTD

This makes me think of the Helen Reddy song "I am woman" haha. I wanted to do a cat-inspired EOTD for my Halloween series because I think they have some amazing eyes naturally. This, like the rest of my series, is pretty easy to replicate.

My Hear Me Roar EOTD was inspired by a picture of a lioness.

I couldn't decide which picture I liked better so you get to see both ;) This look is a little softer in the actual eye than the first, which is bit more fierce.
Again, this look is pretty simple to replicate, all you have to do is place a few colors down and do some shading :)

This is what I used:
  • Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes pincil in 0L (tight-lined upper and lower waterlines)
  • Too Faced Lava Matte Super Black Eye Liner (drew in the black around the eye using a pencil brush, then smudged it with a different brush)
  • MAC White Shadow - sorry, this is one that has the label smudged off so badly I can't read it! (patted in the white highlighted area)
  • Urban Decay Half Baked (patted around edges of white and black and pulled color out)
  • Urban Decay Twice Baked (used to shade and contour around the white and lioness eyebrow)
  • Urban Decay Smog (used to shade and contour)
  • Fyrinnae Snow White (patted over black around eye)
  • B.Koi Truce (patted over MAC white shadow used to highlight)
  • Red Cherry #13 lashes - I know you can't really see them in the photos, they're much more noticeable in person and I hate having no lashes ;)
So what do you think? Is it fierce enough for you?
