| This is the cake I made for my son's "friend" party. I'm doing a different one for the family party. I'm kind of neurotic about my cakes (thanks, Mom for passing that down haha), so I made this from scratch from the inside out--frosting to fondant! My arms are dying!!! For anyone not sure who this character is, it's Nintendo's "Bob-omb"! My son is having a Mario Bros. themed birthday this year :) |
My oldest turned 6 today, which is beyond exciting ... but also really hitting me with how fast he's growing! Why does the jump from 5 to 6 like he's going from a little kid to a kid???? Ugh crazy how fast time goes by.
I know this isn't beauty related, but if you guys have any questions about the cake or want me to do a post on making or using fondant or 3D molds let me know! It could be fun to do another random baking post ;)
